YARRA Ranges business owners who missed last year’s cashflow management workshop now have a second chance to learn how to avoid a cashflow crisis.
The Cash Is King! workshop is being held at the Shire of Yarra Ranges offices in Anderson Street, Lilydale, on 25 February from 6pm to 9pm.
The workshop will be presented by finance industry expert Jan Barned, who has worked in the finance industry internationally and in Australia for more than 20 years in senior finance roles in a number of industries.
Yarra Ranges councillor Graham Warren said the workshop would provide local small business owners with effective tools to help them approach cashflow management with improved confidence.
“Previous participants in this workshop have found Jan’s advice easy to understand and apply in their own businesses,” Cr Warren said.
Cr Warren said topics would include understanding cashflow, key drivers of cash in a business, how to design and manage cashflow daily, weekly and monthly, and how to improve business operations through good cashflow forecasting.
“I hope local businesses who haven’t yet attended the Cash Is King! workshop will have the chance to do so on 25 February,” he said.
The cost is $20.
