The couple who celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at Yarra View Retirement Village in Warburton on 10 January have lived most of their married life in Yarra Junction.
The happy couple was married exactly 60 years ago to the day at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warburton.
The celebration brought back wonderful memories of the night they danced the night away at the Cabaret, a popular nightspot in 1948, now The Patchwork Teahouse, and of a romantic seaside honeymoon at Mornington.
Pat and Phil’s diamond wedding anniversary was shared with family, including the couple’s two children and six grandchildren, and friends at Yarra View Retirement Village.
