CFA volunteers around the Yarra Valley will be doing their bit for the Royal Children’s Hospital Appeal on Good Friday.
Last year their effort across Victoria brought in more than $1million.
Emoke Bakacs from the RCH appeal office said the CFA troops act as the arms and legs of the appeal in terms of collection on Good Friday.
“They do us proud every year,” she said.
“Without them, I know we would not be able to get the total we get from regional areas each year, and especially in the Yarra Valley.”
Good effort
