Under 16: With Yarra Junction losing the toss, J. Nightingale opened the bowling taking 2/6 off 8. G. Reynolds supported him take 2/9 off 7.
J. Dewhurst was the pick of the bowlers with 3/6 off 8.
D. Sanders in his first game for the year bowled well taking 1/6 with his brother taking a catch off his bowling. M. Gammon was also a successful bowler taking 1/6. The only resistance from Seville came from S. Morgan making 476.
Seville finished the day all out for 101.
Under 12A: Warburton won the toss and sent Yarra Junction in to bat and after 10 overs Junction were 0/42 and off to a good start.
The first wicket fell at 1/74 off 17 overs, then Junction had a bit of a collapse but kept on scoring.
At stumps Junction were 8/146 off 38 overs. The pick of the batters were M. Mallick 25*, K. Galea 20*, L. Spalding 18* and M. Scott 17*.
The pick of the bowlers was B. Hardinge 2/10 off 3 overs.
