WARBURTON’S Christmas festival saw the main street alive on Friday evening 21 December for all the fun, entertainment and of course a visit from Santa.
Supported by the Warburton Chamber of Commerce and Upper Yarra Community Enterprises, visitors and locals mixed as they wandered from shop to shop and stopped to listen to Christmas songs.
Billy Mays manager Susan Cliff said it was wonderful to see so many people all coming together alongside the Warbuton Water Wheel and the grass banks.
“The spirit of Christmas was truly alive as people mixed more and found friends both old and new in the space around our local magicians,” she said. “2013 can only be a good year for us all in Warburton.”
