PEOPLE followed the scented trail last week when Healesville Library hosted a tasty Cooks Kitchen Event.
The library invited culinary minded folk to join Jacqui Webber from Taste Buds in the ‘Ville to learn all the secrets behind making mouthwatering sandwiches and wraps from a range of exciting ingredients.
The best part of the day was getting to sample the produce, which included a special sandwich gateau.
Ms Webber, who has owned Taste Buds in the ‘Ville for nine years and worked in hospitality for most of her life, said the class was about broadening horizons.
“The important lesson was not to be locked into preparing traditional sandwiches and to experience new flavours, colour and texture,” Ms Webber said.
“This is also a good way to make sandwiches for children more interesting.”
