FITTING FEMMELINE has been taking care of women and their bodies for well over 50 years.
Originally started up by Beryl Moore in the early 1950s, Femmeline has been owned and operated by her daughter Ros Ralston for the past 10 years.
Femmeline specialises in fitting women of all shapes and sizes, and from all walks of life, with comfortable, appropriately fitted, fashionable bras.
“As reported in media surveys, a majority of women wear an incorrectly fitted bra,” Ms Ralston said.
“It is important to have a regular bra fitting to ensure a comfortable, healthy fit.”
In addition to offering bra fittings, Ms Ralston and her staff, Netta McCubbin and Monica Gaynor, are specially trained in mastectomy fittings and each have over 20 years of experience.
Femmeline also stock a large range of maternity bras including larger sizes and an extensive range of modern maternity leisure wear.
“We also stock a range of night wear for elderly women and a good range of chlorine resistant swim wear,” Ms Ralston said.
“In particular, we have a large range of lycra fashion swim wear and we offer friendly guidance to ensure the most flattering style.”
Femmeline also stocks a wide range of gowns including zip, wrap and button through styles in all sizes and leading brands of leisure fashions including Black Apple, Black Pepper, Givoni and Equus.
“We cater for all women from size 8 through to size 24,” Ms Ralston said.
Over the past five decades Femmeline has been situated in a range of locations including Lilydale, Box Hill and Glen Waverley, and now calls Croydon home.
