Healesville v Emerald.

Made the coach proud boys. Moved the ball quickly around the ground, giving the forwards good opportunities. The defence proved strong all day.

Under 11
Mt Evelyn d Healesville.
The boys had most of the possession but could not convert. Fought back well in the third and final quarters but fell short against an accurate Mt. Evelyn.

Emerald d Healesville.

Healesville 6–8-44 d Emerald 1-3-9
A really great effort by all the boys today. Our determination and hardness at the footy was first class.
A good effort by Emerald but we ran over them in the end with some good footy form all players.

Under 14
Emerald 9-8-62 d Healesville 8-3-51.
The boys tried hard all day against a good Emerald side. Some good individual performances kept Healesville in the game but the team failed to score when needed.

Under-16
Emerald d Healesville.
Emerald provided a bigger and stronger opposition against the younger Healesville team.
The Healesville backline played well against many Emerald forward movers. Bradd Egginton continued to be a great player and leader at full back.
Healesville were able to show real potential when they moved the ball quickly and out into space. Nigel Wilkes, Simon Thomas and Matt Charlett were strong contributors around the ground.
Todd Featherstone played well for his 100th game for the club.

Another great team effort. The team continued to work for each other, talk around the packs and tackle strongly.

After a slow first quarter the team got into gear in the second and didn’t stop coming away with a convincing victory.

Under 16
Wesburn 11-12-78 d Belgrave 7-2-44
In a scrambly game the team could not get their full running game going and struggled to hit targets with their disposals.
The team steadied in the final quarter to record a solid victory against a spirited opposition.
