YARRA Glen Police are keen to hear from the owner of jewellery found at Christmas Hills.
Senior Constable Marion Purdie said the collection of ladies’ and mens’ watches, necklaces, rings, earrings and other items were handed in by a local man who found them in the bush.
“We believe they may be from a burglary and, because they are all together in a container, that it is likely they are from the one place.
Sen Const Purdie said they believe the jewellery may belong to someone from around the local district.
Anyone who has lost jewellery, or had it stolen, can contact Yarra Glen Police on 9730 1296.
