In line for bus boost

UPPER Yarra commuters are set to benefit from a raft of bus service improvements brought on-line this week.
Weekday, weekend and public holiday services on the 683 bus route, running from Warburton to Chirnside Park Shopping Centre, were extended from yesterday (Monday).
The improvements will see the 683 service, operated by Martyrs Buses, run from 6am to 9pm weekdays, 8am to 9pm on Saturdays and public holidays and from 9am to 9pm Sundays, Christmas Day and Good Friday. The extra services are set to improve bus services in Warburton, Millgrove, Wesburn, Yarra Junction, Launching Place, Woori Yallock, Seville, Wandin, Lilydale and Chirnside Park.
