WARBURTON community groups are being invited to attend an information night about the Warburton Community Bank’s grants program and services.
The information session will be held at the Warburton Millgrove Sports Club on Wednesday, 26 July from 7pm and community groups are encouraged to send along representatives.
The bank’s secretary treasurer Geoff Vickers said the evening would be a good opportunity for community groups to learn more about the bank’s operation.
“The main interest for most community groups will be the chance to hear about the process of applying for project funding through the bank’s community grants program,” he said.
“It’ll also be a chance for groups to get more information on some of the bank’s latest innovative services and find out how they can contribute to the success of our community.”
Mr Vickers said representatives from a wide range of community groups were welcome to attend the information session, including sporting clubs, arts groups, school groups, environmental groups and other special interest groups.
“Community groups will be able to find out more about how to apply for grants through the bank and get tips on applying for the next round of grants which close at the end of September,” he said.
Mr Vickers said bookings for the evening would be appreciated.
