On November 17-19, the mountaintop community of Moora Moora, near Healeville, will open its gates for three days of amazing performances, exhibitions, activities and space for togetherness.
There are many reasons why you should consider heading along.
Take for example, the popular Melbourne act 8 Foot Felix, with its incredible blend of soaring vocals, triumphant horns and deep bass grooves.
Womad performer, Ganga Giri, takes listeners into a deep primal soundscape summed up by Peter Gabriel – “I loved the mix of his ancient and primitive instrument with a wide range of great dance grooves.”
Mel Webb and Kylie Morrigan bring an intimate experience of vocal adventurism, beat boxing, and soaring strings to draw their audience into a their quirky and exhilarating musical world.
The place and the belonging that is Moora Moora is integral to the festival.
Moora Moora is an intentional and off-grid community of about 70 people living on 650 acres overlooking the Yarra Valley.
